Super Bowl of Caring National
Service Project is an effort to touch lives and teach youth to
fight hunger and poverty in their local communities. The 2005 effort was
led by over 11,000 organizations and generated $4 million for charities
across the country and world. This is one of the easiest
projects to facilitate to serve the needs of the disadvantaged in our
community. Simply invite parish members to contribute to the needy as
they leave mass on NFL Super Bowl Sunday. Youth holding pots should
stand at the exits to receive the donations. All food and/or money is
given to the agency/charity selected by the youth.
